Located within Indonesia’s largest recreation park, the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol’s Carnaval Beach has a large open area, perfect for outdoor musical concerts and other shows. The popular heavy metal band Iron Maiden successfully performed here to a most enthusiastic crowd. Carnaval Beach can accommodate up to 6,000 persons. Here is also the Mata Elang International Stadium (MEIS) that has a capacity of up to 20,000 people. The splendid performance of Roxette concert in early March 2012 marked the opening of the stadium.

The concert entitled 'Alter Bridge Tour Jakarta 2014' will be held at Mata Elang International Stadium, Ancol Jakarta. The promoter 7 Kings Entertainment has opened the pre-sale tickets starting today until February 2.

The building has been restored and today it has a stage of 24 x 17.5 meters and can accommodate up to 500 persons. GKJ is often used for traditional and modern performances, the latest being the piano recital.

  • Teater Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki

    Located on Jalan Cikini Raya in Central Jakarta, Jakarta’s dedicated Art Center is named after Ismail Marzuki, Indonesia’s maestro musician and composer. The theater seats up to 1,240 persons. The theater is also equipped with a fly tower that comes in the same height as the stage which enables the crew to change the backdrop vertically.
